President Tinubu to swear in new ministers on Monday

 



President Bola Tinubu will on Monday, August 21, swear in the new ministers who have just been assigned portfolios.

 

In a statement released by the office of the secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), it was revealed that the ceremony will take place in the conference room of the State House at 10 am. The ministers are to come with two guests each.

 

A list released of the portfolios assigned to the new ministers, showed the north-west has 10 ministers, while north-east has six. The north-central and south-west have eight and nine ministers respectively, while south-east and south-south have five each.

Billionaire Twitter owner, Elon Musk said on Sunday, July 23 that he was looking to change Twitter's logo, tweeting: "And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds". In a post on Twitter early Sunday morning, Musk added: "If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we'll make (it) go live worldwide tomorrow."   Musk posted an image of an "X", and later in a Twitter Spaces audio chat replied "Yes" when asked if the Twitter logo will change, adding that "it should have been done a long time ago".   Under Musk's chaos-filled tenure, since he bought Twitter in October, the company has changed its business name to X Corp, reflecting the billionaire's vision to create a "super app" like China's WeChat.   Actress Eniola Badmus has said that she will be dragging tiktoker, Ego Blessing Okoye, who accused her of being a pimp to court.    Over the weekend, LIB reported that the actress effected her arrest after a video of Oge making the claim went viral.   In the video, Ego alleged that Eniola is well known for pimping ladies to politicians.   In a video recorded after her arrest, Ego could be seen apologizing to Eniola.
